Raceland-Worthington High School Kiwanis Scholarship Winner

 


 Bobby Hall, president of the Kiwanis Club East Greenup County, presents a $1,000 check to Sidney Rister as the recipient of the 2019 Key Club scholarship at Raceland-Worthington High School. At Raceland-Worthington, Rister volunteered and held leadership positions in several student organizations, including Key Club and Beta Club. She was captain of the girl's varsity volleyball team and maintained a high academic standing while working a parttime job. Rister is the daughter of Donald and Jacqueline Rister of Greenup and plans to pursue pre-pharmacy courses at Morehead State University in the fall.

                               RUSSELL KEY CLUB KIWANIS SCHOLARSHIP WINNER 


 Bobby Hall,  President of Kiwanis Club of East Greenup County presents Hunter Freeman a $1,000 check as the recipient of the 2019 Key Club scholarship at Russell High School. At Russell High School, Freeman held leadership positions and volunteered in several student organizations, including Key Club and Beta Club. He was captain of the tennis team and maintained an exemplary academic standing while holding a parttime job. Freeman is the son of Richard and Penny Freeman of Russell and plans to pursue an engineering degree. He is considering programs at two colleges
